There are basically three main streets in Alanya: Atatürk Street,25 mt. Street and D-400 Intercity Road.

There are basically three main streets in Alanya: Atatürk Street,25 mt. Street and D-400 Intercity Road. There are two kinds of busses operating in Alanya;municipality busses(white and orange coloured) and private busses(blue coloured).

Municipality busses are providing the public transfer in the town centrum and ending at the beginning of Mahmutlar. If you bought a property in Alanya centrum,you can go everywhere with municipality busses.If you bought a property in Alanya in the district of the town,you can take either municipality busses or private busses.Here are the routes of each municipality bus:

NUMBER 1 : Number 1 starts to drive from Mahmutlar and goes through Kestel from the sea side,passes by Oba,gets in Ataturk Street,stops at Ataturk Statue,PTT,Kleopatra Beach and Bus Station as last stop.After the Bus Station of Alanya,it returns via the same route.The price of 1 person is 2 TL.If you have a pre-paid card,it costs 1,5 TL per person.You can buy the pre-paid cards from the Municipality of Alanya or shops which are authorized to upload the cards.There are in total of 32 Kentkart sales points.

NUMBER 2: Number 2 starts to drive from the same spot in Mahmutlar and goes through Kestel centrum,passes by Tosmur and Oba via D-400,stops at Alanyum Shopping Center,Organised Workshops area( Sanayi),Government Hospital,drives through 25 mt Street and stops at Friday Market( Cuma Pazarı),Baskent University Hospital,Fish Market,Tapu Building,Anadolu Private Hospital and Alanya Bus Station.The bus returns after the Bus Station and follows the same route back to Mahmutlar.The price is 2 TL per person;1,5 TL if youhave a pre-paid card( called KentKart)

NUMBER 3: Number 3 starts to drive from the same point in Mahmutlar,goes through Kestel centrum,passes by Tosmur and Oba via D-400, stops at Alanyum Shopping Center,Organised Workshops area( Sanayi),Government Hospital,drives through 25 mt Street and stops at Friday Market( Cuma Pazarı),Baskent University Hospital,Fish Market,Tapu Building,Anadolu Private Hospital and Alanya Bus Station.The bus returns after the Bus Station and follows the same route back to Mahmutlar.The price is 2 TL per person;1,5 TL if youhave a pre-paid card.The route of number 3 is more or less same as number 2.

NUMBER 4: Number 4 takes you up to Alanya Castle.The bus stops of number 4 are Kuyularönü Mosque,Damlataş Street,Aquapark.

Number 1 and 101 are mostly used by tourists due to their routes.They go along the Atatürk Boulevard and stops at Atatürk Statue,Friday Market(Cuma Pazari),Harbour,PTT(Post Office),Cleopatra Beach and Alanya Bus Station( Otogar).

The private busses are providing the public transportation between Alanya Centrum and districts and villages such as Konakli,Incekum,Avsallar,Kestel,Mahmutlar,Kargıcak,Demirtas and Gazipasa.Their starting point is in Friday Market(Cuma Pazarı) and the price per person is between 2,5 and 3 TL.

The municipality busses stop only at bus stops while the private busses can stop anywhere you wish.The average driving periods of the busses are every 15 minutes.

If you would like to go to different cities such as Antalya,Ankara,Adana,Izmir,Istanbul etc.,you can easily buy ticket at Alanya Bus Station(Otogar) and go with air-conditioned latest brand of busses.
